Aviso de privacidad de Numa
Última actualización: 1 de octubre de 2026
Numa no recoge ningún dato tuyo.
iCloud: tu iPhone, iPad, Mac y Apple Watch

Numa Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Numa does not collect any of your data. We have no server and there is no account to create. What you log lives on your devices and, if you leave it on, in your own iCloud, where only you can see it.
What the app stores, and where
To do its job, Numa stores what you log: your expenses and income (amount, category, date and note), your accounts and their starting balances, your budgets, categories, recurring items, debts, savings goals, reminders and your settings (currency, language, theme).
All of it is stored on your own device. If you delete the app, that data is deleted from that device.
iCloud: your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch
So that what you log on one device shows up on the others, the app uses the private database of your own iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). That data travels encrypted between your devices and Apple's servers and stays in your iCloud, not on a server of ours: we cannot see it, and neither can anyone but you. Apple handles it under its own privacy policy.
Sync can be turned off on each device in Settings → iCloud. When it is off, everything stays on that device only.
The Apple Watch talks to your iPhone directly, over the connection between the two: what you log on the watch goes to your iPhone and from there to your iCloud.
What Numa never asks for
- Access to your online banking, or any connection to your bank.
- Card or account numbers, PINs or passwords.
- Your name, email, phone number or address.
The names of your accounts and categories are yours to choose and exist only so you recognize them (“Bank”, “My daughter's”). They do not have to be real or identify you.
Siri, Shortcuts, widgets and Control Center
If you log with Siri, Apple processes your voice under its privacy policy; the app only receives the amount and the category. What you log with Siri, the Action button or the watch is kept in a shared space inside your own device until the app picks it up.
Widgets and complications read your numbers from that same space on your device. They can be seen while the phone is locked, so they show totals, never notes.
Logging with Apple Pay
This is optional and you turn it on yourself with a shortcut in the Shortcuts app. When you pay with Apple Pay, the Wallet app passes Numa the amount, the merchant name and the card name (never its number). Numa saves the amount and the merchant as an expense on your device; the card name is only used to choose which account to log it in and is not saved. The category is guessed from the one you gave that merchant before, also on your device.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders and the monthly summary are local notifications: your own device works them out and schedules them, and they stay there. The app also receives silent notifications from iCloud to know that another of your devices changed something; you do not see them and they do not carry your data. If you do not grant notification permission, the app still works — just without reminders.
Purchases (Numa Pro)
Numa Pro is bought inside the app and the payment is processed by Apple with your Apple Account. We do not receive your name, your email or your payment details: the app only knows whether the purchase exists, to turn Numa Pro on.
No analytics, no ads, no third parties
Numa contains no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. We do not share, sell or transfer information to third parties, simply because we do not have any.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and, since it collects no data, it collects no data from children.
Backups and Excel files
The app lets you export a backup of your data and your transactions as a file for Excel. Those files are yours to control: they are generated on your device and you decide where to send or store them. Once they leave the app, they are outside our reach.
Changes to this policy
If the app were ever to collect any data, this policy would be updated before that happened, and the date above would reflect the change.
